Sunset on the St. Lucie River - Downtown Stuart

Hoping to catch one of many great sunsets we've seen lately we met model Karissa Ferguson downtown just before sunset.  We walked out on the boardwalk and didn't have to wait very long for the sky to open up at just the last minute for a beautiful sunset.

With my wide angle lens (Canon 28mm F/2.8) you can see a wide vista of the sky and all the colors that were dancing around. I love that you can still see the blue sky and the sunset merging together.

Some people ask me about Karissa.  She is a regular muse and models for us frequently.  She is the one we experiment on, we try photographic techniques, new equipment, crazy outfits and even crazier makeup on her before we present them to the client.  Here we were playing with our new LED light trying to see how much light we could muster in front of a dramatic sunset.  This little test proved our new light works just fine.  I love new technology!  Thank you Karissa for continuing to be such a lovely source of patience and inspiration!
