Shay's Bourdoir Shoot

As I was hitting the shutter model Shay Hummel responded by slightly shifting her pose click after click.  She lowered her eyes slighty, click.  Lower, click.  Lower. Click.

Tilt the chin.
Click.

Perfect. This is exactly what I want from a model some one who listens to the camera and knows when to shift. I'll admit it. She surprised me because earlier when she showed up at 9:00 AM for hair and makeup she was shy and timid.  She was visibly nervous and sat quiet as a mouse as Lindsay did her hair and makeup.  Who is Lindsay?  More on her later.

As the shoot progressed little Shay transformed into a confident, sexy vixen and had us laughing too.  She was jumping on the bed using her hands as guns to shoot us all down.  She is one little model my camera can't wait to get in front of the lens again!  Great work Shay!

Okay, how amazing is she?  Shay, you really wowed us!

Now a word about Lindsay LaSalla.  She's a hair and makeup artist and is a total professional.  She's definitely going places as a HMUA, she's already done Fashion Week in Miami and she knew exactly when to step in and make an adjustment during our shoot.  Clearly she did an AMAZING transformation (look at the before and after pictures).  She understood what I was looking for and didn't stop until she had it nailed to a fault.  I was incredibly impressed and have no intention of letting this girl get away!

Lindsay transformed Shay's hair with each clothing change.  Although I loved the way she splayed out her hair and added roses it was the french twist with a tail was my favorite.  Lindsay, consider yourself formally offered to be a part of the Pretty Muse team.  :)

One last word to Shay and Lindsay, oh my!!!!  I loved working with you both!  You guys were absolutely awesome and I can't wait to work with you together again!  I hope you both get LOTS of mileage out of this shoot, you deserve it!  Never settle for second rate, anywhere, with anyone.  You deserve the very best!

Meet Anthony

This is the long awaited for male model, Anthony.  He came down to Florida and visited for a while and Pretty Muse was lucky enough to photograph him.  Be sure to catch the video.

Up until now we've been purely women photographers with very limited shoots.  We like keeping our work fresh and unique, we like low volume and high end and we also like the exclusiveness, I'll admit. We aren't your regular photographers, if you've followed the blog at all you know that often an enormous amount of work goes into the shoots.  Sometimes it means custom made clothing or an accessory ordered from Bangkok for just the perfect look.

Anyways....Pretty Muse will now shoot a limited number of men each year.  Limited for the same reason mentioned above.  Keep everyone's work fresh and personal.  We are a new kind of photography business trying to creating a new market that doesn't exist here.  We cater to your wishes and are currently working on a project that involves turning a pool into an underwater bedroom with a brass bed and all.  We love creating personal work, it doesn't have to be elaborate, just fresh and meaningful to our muse.  We aren't cheap, but we are affordable.







Anyways, Anthony here is the first male model we are featuring.  I already know you love him because the hits his Sneak Peek got were huge!  Be sure to catch the video.
